This lovely buckskin Paso Fino mare with the pale yellow eyes is a petite beauty with a fiery spirit. In her late teens, she was welcomed to The Sanctuary after a series of owners, and after she had developed a reputation for bucking. Her history was known to the staff; a former owner had died, leaving a herd of horses that had scattered to many homes across the area, but now many were finding their way to Rosemary Farm, including the half sister she grew up with, Magpie!
Christine is a natural leader, and has gathered a small group that she is often found with, including Ruby, Tyler and her main man Bowie, from whom she has become inseparable. While these two partners are very different breeds, they are about the same age and arrived about the same time, which is often a unifying quality. Christine is in transition, a window of time when The Sanctuary staff are still training and working with a horse, and the future is yet unknown. It is possible Christine will be suited for adoption in the future, or she may remain at The Sanctuary (and with Bowie).
